BSG Crap...

OK, WTH is up with BSG now? Now we got Baltar getting dumped by one robot only to be picked up by the Xena Warrior Princess robot? I don't know what to think... Isn't there a dating etiquette among the cylons? I mean, shouldn't the Xena Warrior Princess one at least wait a couple days? I mean dang... can't trust those robots...

Army of Darkness

so like, I watched Army of Darkness again last week. Man that is one funny movie... it was on scifi so I caught it. I love how he makes a metal hand out of the materials they had available. lol... what a great goofy movie and Bruce Campbell plays the Ash character so well... it is great... hehe

Star Trek New Voyages

Star Trek New Voyages is an Internet only new season of Star Trek. The new show will be the continuing voyages of Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701 as seen in the 1966-69 television series, Star Trek. This is an independent creation, and the creators hope to make a full 22 episode season. According to their Web site, they make no money with this show. You can watch and download the episodes at http://www.startreknewvoyages.com/.

DESTROY ALL PLANETS!!!!!

Ok so I busted open the 50 pack of scifi movies I got off of Amazon for 12.99 (see previous post for link), and I decide to watch "Destroy All Planets" as my first movie from the pack. Man, let me tell you... This was absolute 100% cheesy ancient scifi from like the 50s/60's. It was a Gamera movie (I LOVED Gamera as a kid) and it was great! Gamera is protecting the Earth from invasion by these alien dudes, and ends up beating them in a long battle while protecting two boy scouts! lol... this is classic scifi at its best! From the terrible dialog, to the 15 minute battle scenes where all you hear is screeching from the monsters, this was cheesy scifi at its best! I think the best line I heard from the movie was one of the boy scouts saying, "Well, they are trying to destroy the earth so we can't just stand here... we need to do something!". My eight year old loved the Gamera fights, but he got bored after like 7 minutes. LOL.

Star Trek on TV Land

I've been waiting for this for a while, and it's finally going to happen. Star Trek (the original and best series) is coming to TV Land in November. Now I can get all those shows on tape. Yep, I still use my VCR.
